This 410 Bore shotshell is from Federal’s Top Gun Sporting line of target ammunition. Without costing you very much, it’ll perform exactly as you’d have it so that you can show people who’s the boss over at the trap range. (You, to be clear.) It’s loaded with a half ounce of #8 lead shot, a perfect size for devastating clays in flight. (You’ll also be able to show quail who’s the boss with this shell if you’re so inclined.) Federal’s shot is hard and spherical, so it has no trouble maintaining a tight pattern downrange. This shell delivers a very high muzzle velocity at 1,330 fps, so you won’t have to lead very much with your aim. In spite of that, this is still a low recoil load – optimal if you’re going to empty out two barrels in rapid succession.
